New Book And Research Appeal To Readers

New Book And Research Appeal To Readers
November 28, 2016 Admin

Europeancivilwar.com is blessed to have a lot of readers who regularly send in articles and links. This is enormously helpful, and I am sure most folks notice that a lot of the articles and stories I produce come as a result of this sharing.

With this being the case, I wanted to announce that I am working on a new book, and lay out a few areas of scholarship involved in it for which I would be extremely appreciative if readers could keep their eyes peeled.

I am just about halfway done with the outline of the book, and if I can work consistently on it I am hoping to finish by next summer.

The areas which I would appreciate readers keeping their eyes peeled for related stories include the following:

-Material on the Millenial Generation and right-wing politics

-Anything about ‘red-pilling’ or things tangentially related to this
-Material on Generation-Identitaire, The Soldiers of Odin, and any other similar groups
-Links to websites of young men writing about Identitarian politics, right-wing politics, the situation in Europe, etc
-Scholarship on Generational Cycles by anyone other than Strauss and Howe (I have already read all of their stuff, which is excellent)
-Scholarship on Historical Cycles
-Predictions and Scholarship on impending war, civilizational collapse, etc coming in the next fifteen years

So yeah, if anyone reading this stumbles across such things, please send them my way. In addition, all current-events tips and links on stuff in Europe is as appreciated as ever. I will be working hard on this book going forward, but still have every intention of keeping this website updated as events on the ground in Europe progress.

Very interesting. Appreciate the link Dashui.

Have you ever read Turchin? He seems like he would be up your alley. I am just diving into his book ‘War, Peace, War’. He says that not just distance between elites and regular folks but also too many elites can lead to societal destabilization. I am only halfway through the introduction but the book seems quite interesting. Sure I will be writing about it soon though lol.

Please keep sending any more links like this you find!

yes I read War Peace War. Turchin in his blog says he has some redneck in-laws, who are veterans, don’t like corporate life, and love to go out with their friends shooting assault rifles. He’s worried that they are gonna form the Mannerbund that rips apart the US.

Lol sounds good to me 🙂

I still have trouble visualizing the US breaking down though.. Seems natural in Europe but for some reason with the US it is just difficult to picture in my head.

I am still only at the beginning of Turchin but it seems like his system predicts a crisis in the 2020’s here in America- or is that a different author I am thinking? Anyway we shall see. Certainly the US is fractured upon racial lines among others. Perhaps if the economy really falls apart that would do the trick. Or any sort of logistical breakdown ala Hurricane Katrina. Honestly I hadn’t thought about Katrina in years but now that I bring it up, that might have really been the beginning of- or one of the main crystalizing moments of- my ‘consciousness’. I remember being glued to the news while it was happening (I was 18 I think) and just being flabbergasted/enraged beyond measure knowing what was happening to the white women trapped there in the Superdome. Made me realize how close we all are to anarchy and just what anarchy in a multicultural society would mean.

This is a very powerful essay that is written in a clear and concise style. It’s very persuasive because of the practical life experience of the author, who was one of the unsung heroes who built and maintained the British Empire. Living and working in the Middle East for 30 years gave him a realistic perspective that elevates his work above mere academic research:

If you have not seen this guy’s site, I think you will be impressed by his central thesis –applying r/k selection theory to political and cultural trends. He explains the concept better than I can, but it involves the influence (or lack thereof) of the amygdala and other brain structures on the formation of survival strategies, and the way these strategies are expressed via politics. Definitely a “Cycles of Civilization” guy, and he comes at the issue from a new and unique perspective.

Also, in his blog, AnonCon often discusses practical “spook” tradecraft topics, such as counter-surveillance techniques and facial recognition “tells”. Although he doesn’t divulge his background, he certainly sounds like some kind of high-level G-Man, and his take on these matters is as interesting and informative as his main thesis.

Thank you for that Steve- I actually stumbled upon him about three weeks ago strangely enough! I think the R/k stuff is EXTREMELY interesting/insightful/spot on.

I actually had asked him for an interview in which he would apply those ideas to Europe, but am still waiting on his responses to the questions. Gonna have to check in with him again.

    Scholarship on historical cycles:
Are you familiar with Gunnar Heinsohn’s work, and his ‘youth bulge’ theory that an excess of young males without an economic perspective will lead to civil unrest and war?

    ‘Red-Pilling’:
I’m currently reading Geoffrey Miller’s book “Mate”. Although he is not an Identitarian, but a Libertarian, he is a brilliant and open-minded evolutionary psychologist with many good ideas. I would say that many of his points about seeking respectful win-win relationships with women overlap with your ideas or Greg Johnson’s criticism of PUA culture and the Manosphere.
Additionally, I think that nutrition needs to get more attention in the “red-pilling” process. Still too many believe that saturated fats or animal products in general are unhealthy, and that the optimal diet is low-fat, vegetarian and based on whole grains. The opposite is true, and young men need to understand this to optimize their health, and to develop the strength and stamina to fight for their people.

Hey Kadphises thank you for that link- that is fantastic… I copied multiple quotes from it to use. Amazing it was from 2007! I am going to try to buy Heinsohn’s book about the subject. It seems absolutely spot on to me.

Another book about the topic which sounds interesting is Roy Barzilai’s “Testosterone Hypothesis – How Hormones Regulate the Life Cycles of Civilization”. I haven’t read it yet, but I guess you will have to read it critically and take everything with a grain of salt, as the author is an Israeli Jew. I expect he will overemphasize the Jewish contribution to the “Judeo-Christian Western” culture and the supposed “beta-maleness” of Hitler as a vegetarian and alleged asexual. Nevertheless, it might contain some interesting ideas about masculinity and the rise and fall of civilizations.

Hey Kadphises thank you for linking to this- been looking at it and it is very interesting. Interesting dichotomy indeed- the author is jewish but the comments suggest he is PRO masculinity, and that feminists might be offended by the book. I am going to have to check this out, I appreciate you telling me about it…

My pleasure! I checked his blog and FB page, actually because he is always shilling for his book in an evo psych discussion group and it fits right into your research topics here.
Yep, he is a pro-masculinity, anti-feminist, anti-jihadist, pro-Trump and pro-Putin Jew, it seems. I guess that kind of Hebrew is more common in Israel than in the U.S. or Europe.
On the other hand, according to what I have read so far, he praises the control freak Old Testament Jahwe as a ‘high-T’ God and thinks the Roman empire was a ‘low-T’ civiliation. This appears contradictory to his characterizations of low-T and high-T behavior, and very weird, if you don’t understand his own in-group/cultural bias.

There’s a meme that I’ve seen in a couple places on the Webz that seems to encapsulate the whole Cycles of History thing:

“Strong men create good times, good times create weak men, weak men create hard times, hard times create strong men.”

      Hey Steve-

      Thanks for posting that!

I read a book about the Muslim Brotherhood a couple years ago and it talked alot about the Muslim Students Associations and all that stuff, but there are a lot of things in this post I never knew. Very well put together stuff.

Its fascinating reading about the roots of the Muslim Brotherhood and how they planned all this stuff out from the beginning – infiltrating Western Universities and other power vectors, engaging in fake hate crimes to sway public opinion, building massive fundraising operations that jettison cash from Mosques across the West back to radicals in the Middle-East, it is truly unbelievable the scope of their plans and just how successful they have been.

Obviously they are the enemy, but I think there is MUCH we can learn from how they prosecuted such actions. A veritable 4GW master-class that we should study.

    Absolutely. Know Your Enemy.

Very cool stuff. Noticed the park about needing a fulltime animator too, that’s awesome they are doing that well that they need fulltime employees. Perfect example of rising Alternative Media and ‘Alt Tech’ as Vox Day calls it. Would love to have thousands of such sites.

Also they are indeed a photogenic couple aren’t they? Almost the perfect visual representation of both our ‘folk’ and of our movement of smart but hip young right-wing Northern European warrior-philosophers 🙂
