New Interview on Red Ice Radio With Julian Langness

New Interview on Red Ice Radio With Julian Langness
June 7, 2016 Admin

Last week I was interviewed by Henrik Palmgren of Red Ice Radio about several topics. We discussed Fistfights With Muslims In Europe: One Man’s Journey Through Modernity, this website, and (of course) the escalating civil war in Europe, and some of the articles on it I have written for Counter-Currents.

It just came out yesterday, June 6th. If you would like to listen to it the link is here: https://redice.tv/red-ice-radio/fistfights-with-muslims-in-europe

I was immensely honored to be on Henrik’s program, and am very happy with the result. I completely mis-remembered Johnathan Gottschall’s term “Monkey-Dances” though, accidentally calling it “Cockfights”, but other than that everything went very smoothly, and I was very thankful to get the opportunity to discuss Europe with Henrik, since he has been fighting the good fight for 10+ years now and has contributed far more to it than I have so far.

I referenced Nxx’s thoughts on C4ISR Structures, but might have slightly misspoke, as Henrik’s show notes suggest I came off as describing it the concept as being specifically tied to the Revolutionary War, rather than that just being an example of the importance of such logistical apparatus’.

In closing, wanted to thank all the readers and commenters on this website who keep the energy going- I appreciate your involvement tremendously!

A sword day, a red day, ere the sun rises-

Julian

White-knights. I wonder why those pussies don’t target Muslim rapists in Sweden?

Gotta give the lads some props though. Not quite as cool as I thought it was when the title popped up though, I was picturing the young Swedish dude manhandling some black rapist, not a wimpy looking White kid. Perhaps he can take his newfound skills back to Sweden and break some Orc necks.

Thanks Laguna Beach! It was definitely a huge privilege. Will be interesting to look back on it in ten years and compare our thoughts to what reality ends up being.

Hey Dashui- I have been reading these they are awesome. As soon as I get the podcast set up I think I will reach out to these folks and see if he/if they would want to be interviewed. VERY good stuff. As always you are the king of good links I don’t know where you find all these.

You sent a link from Fistfights to Jack Donovan? It only came out four month ago so wanted to make sure I understood comment correctly 🙂

          • DaShui 10 months ago

Yes, I sent one to JD.
Before u released your book u would email me excerpts and one excerpt discussed way of men. JD was very curious about u.

Ahh yes I remember. I know- you were like the first person to sign up for my email list Dashui- your long-term support is much appreciated. But yeah I have actually never reached out to Jack Donovan, I will have to do that. He is certainly one of my biggest influences for sure.

Any other up and coming authors you have been reading that I should check out? I am always looking for new ideas I haven’t heard of before. Speaking of such things you should read both the Omar Nasiri book and the Tamim Ansary books if you haven’t. They are both incredible. I have read Nasiri at least twenty times, and Ansary at least four.

Hey Dashui- I saw that you posted this twice that is probably because it didn’t get approved right away the first time. I have no idea why but my wordpress approves your comments (and everyone elses) automatically sometimes and not automatically at others. So one time you will post and it will pop right up, and then the next time wordpress will want my approval, and I don’t always see them for a day or two. Just wanted to let you know so it made sense.

yes, I read the Omar Nasiri book after u recommended it. I enjoyed it very much, the afghan training was much more comprehensive than I realized.
Sooner or later I will get to the Ansary book.

I highly recommend John Michael Greer, I’ve been trolling him for almost 10 years now. U might b able to score an interview as he is from small town Oregon. He is influenced by Spengler. According to Greer the next 400 years will b a decline and dark ages (with new hero’s born!) then around 2500 a new civilization will arise. According to Greer, rationality always comes at the end of a cultural cycle, then the new religion arises. sorry Molyneux!

The comments are worth reading as his readers are mostly from the left. They all whine that supposed social progress such as feminism and egalitarianism will die out.

Excellent. I was aware of Van Crewald because William S Lind talks about him alot. I have not read any of his writings yet but definitely need to. I certainly agree with the issue of women in the military and feminism “wagging the dog”. The stuff on PTSD looks interesting.

I have never served in the military and don’t feel even remotely able to cast judgement on it, but I have worked in mental health at a very high level and have seen just how inter-related many of the concepts are with progressive doctrine. It ends up being a very, very, very feminist, woman-ish culture. Now, I don’t think that has to be the case, and there are some darn good male military psychologists, including one- Dave Grossman- who you might have read- his books are ‘On War’, and ‘On Killing’. I have read at least one if not both (can’t remember) and listened to a podcast with him on Art of Manliness several times (its very good). He seems to argue that throughout the rest of history, soldiers typically had ample time and opportunity to process the experience of war WITH their immediate fellow soldiers/brothers, and that this ‘group processing’ allowed them to handle their memories in a much more healthy and successful manner than today, where they go back home immediately or are shuttled off to some therapist right away. But yeah, have you read his books? Any thoughts?

I will definitely try to read this Crewald one.

VERY interesting. Certainly the comments below it suggest the complicated nature (and reception it will get!). Ghadafi was a evil Muslim thug who killed many Americans but so were his opponents who this guy apparently helped. Reminds me of the situation in Ukraine and an article I read about some far-right Swedish guy who helped the “native Ukrainian” irregulars against the Russians and was later harangued by lots of European nationalists for fighting with “the jews” against Putin.

In my mind all that stuff blends together to some extent behind the normalcy of young men wanting to fight in wars/have brotherhood/sacrality/etc/etc/etc I always talk about, so I have no interest in judging the dude. Indeed that Swedish guy I referenced talked about later talking online with the Russian troops and building close relationships with them.

But yeah very much appreciate the link too and I will keep an eye out for that Dashui!
