A Polish Company called has released a video game set in a ‘fictional’ 2020 in which White Europeans do battle against Islamic State invaders. While technically that would not make it a ‘civil war’ – critics have lambasted the game for supposedly conflating ‘migrants’ and ‘refugees’ with ISIS terrorists, which the company’s CEO then admitted to basically being true.
From Breitbart London:
The company’s controversial CEO did not shy away from the suggestion that there was an anti-migrant as well as anti-terrorist undercurrent to the game.
Responding to criticism, he argued that, “Muslim immigrants are not adapting to European culture and customs”, and said he did not understand, “what in actual fuck is wrong about nationalism”.
Regarding the setting of the game:
The games description touts: “IS Defense is a game set in politically fictional year 2020 – where the expansion of ISIS went out of control.
“They took over all of Northern Africa, spreading their genocidal understanding of the world’s order.
“Strongly armed, vast in numbers and prepared for everything, the Islamic State is launching the invasion against Europe over the entire Mediterranean Sea.
No surprise it is Poland that is responsible for such a hopeful and inspiring creation. Regarding further criticism and the CEO’s response the article continues:
He also said he believed many so-called ‘refugees’ did not want to integrated into European culture and that there were definitely terrorists among them.
“ISIS [said a] few years ago they will smuggle their members among so called ‘refugees’ and they actually do, we all know that, I suppose? That’s the first thing,” he said.
Continuing: “Second is that sorry, but I don’t believe in the positive intentions of most of these ‘refugees.’ Most of them are coming to Europe to live as lazy-ass social funding suckers. Not for honest work, not to bring anything positive here.
“Of course, there are some good people among them, who are simply seeking a better life and I don’t have anything against them. But it’s a small minority among these masses.
“Third thing is that these Muslim immigrants are not adapting to European culture and customs and they don’t intend to and don’t even try to convince me it is different.
“I believe most of Europeans know that nothing good is coming from taking a shitload of these immigrants. So there’s nothing to demonize, they’ve demonized themselves”.
His opinions about Islam in general were less than favorable.
“Also, there’s nothing about Muslims in general to demonise, just read their holy book and some things are going to be obvious. And don’t believe in ‘it’s a matter of interpretation’ attitude, as it’s complete bullshit”, he concluded.
While we at europeancivilwar.com have a pretty strong track record of bashing video games as instruments of decadence and mass consumption, it is also surely the case that they represent almost to perfection that which men most dream about doing (just look at the titles: Medal Of Honor, Call Of Duty, Grand Theft Auto…), and therefore if this game sells well in Western Europe, that could be harbinger that hope still survives, as significant as the cock crow that interrupts Gandalf’s stand against the Nazgul at the gates of Minis Tirith.
And in that very moment, away behind in some courtyard of the city, a cock crowed. Shrill and clear he crowed, recking nothing of war nor of wizardry, welcoming only the morning that in the sky far above the shadows of death was coming with the dawn.
And as if in answer there came from far away another note. Horns, horns, horns, in dark Mindolluin’s sides they dimly echoed. Great horns of the north wildly blowing. Rohan had come at last.”
“The player takes on the role of NATO’s stationary machine-gun operator, deployed to defend the shores of Europe.
“His task is to blast as many of the invaders as possible, until his glorious death.”
